Local Pirates
When “Pirates of the Caribbean” came to town it was a huge event. Doc and Duke, Ocala’s very own belgians belonging to “Ocala Carriage Tours”, were flown to Puerto Rico to star in the movie. They came to the opening night and gave rides around the square.
Many pirates, big and small came to watch as captain Jack Sparrow rolled into town with his crew and parked in front of the Marion Theatre giving away gold and silver trinkets. If you were there you can still hear the buzz this created on the street.

i really like your photos. i do regret we missed the pirate party. the kids look so great and like they are having so much fun.

Thank you. Yes pirates of all ages enjoyed that event. It was fun shooting the video because of the excitement in the air. Ocala needs more events like this one.
